Default Want to get Epic Evasion

I took my pure artie to lvl 20 and heard that I can take evasion as an epic destiny. I read up on the subject and found shadow gave evasion, but it wasn't allowing me to take it. How do I get evasion through an epic destiny for my lvl 20 pure artie? Thanks

The epic destiny Shadowdancer will automatically grant you the evasion feat when you have the epic destiny set as your active destiny and it is level 5.

    This

And this: The Primal avatar also has an evasion option.

No, "evasion" is NOT an epic destiny. It is offered as a "part" of a couple of destiny trees.

As a pure artie I don't think I can choose either of those epic destinies? Which destiny can I choose that will allow me to get evasion?

you can eventually pick any destiny. you just have to level enough of them.

you can pick and choose betweeen them once you have leveled enough

As an artificer, you will only be able to choose from the "arcane" destinies to begin with. Select the Fatesinger destiny. Get to L4 Fatesinger. You will now be able to select and level the Shadowdancer destiny. Once you get to L5 Shadowdancer, you will be automatically granted Evasion as per the feat.

I mainly use my cross bow for damage and blade barrier, so which would be a good epic destiny to start?

Most Artificers start with Magister. You'll have to work your way to Shadowdancer from there.

Ya arti's kind of get screwed if they're heading toward shirardi. You need to level satesinger, then head to shadow, then to LD, then to shirardi.

Though shirardi is only good if you were repeater speced. Which if that was the case why not rog for stacked SA. Spell wise, or even rune arm which account for a great deal of dps comes into play with draconic and magister.

However as stated shadow nets you evasion along with SA dmg and bunch of other stuff.

Ok, thanks. Magister it is. I just want to be able to get the evasion. Life without evasion is kind of sucky.
