    Default 18/2 TR Bard/Rogue

Considering TRing my level 20 Halfling Barbarian.

Was thinking an 18/2 Bard/Rogue Half-Elf Warchanter with a Fighter Dalliant so he can use his supply of two handed weapons.

    Was thinking:

    Str 16
    Dex 8
    Con 16
    Int 14
    Wis 8
    Cha 16

He already has used a +2 supreme tome.

Any advice or suggestions on this?

First level bard spell 'Master touch' gives all simple and martial weapon proficiencies. You could take paladin dilletante instead or just go human for extra feat.

The second warchanter pre gives you proficiency with a weapon from a list of several types including greataxe and greatsword. You could take the feat early and swap it out after getting wc 2. Or just use master's touch until then.

WC2 gives medium armor proficiency. Are you taking the rogue just for evasion or would you like a little trappy-goodness thrown in? Int is ok at that level.

WCs generally need less SP than the other pre's, so a little less cha and a little more dex for balance might be worth considering. More dex would also help your AC/Open lock. Remember that your bard is going to have about half to 2/3rds the HP of your barbarian.

If you are going lower cha, perform is still great DCs on fascinate. And Mind fog will help you make up for any deficiencies in your DCs.

Definitely make a con-op greensteel item before TRing. It's more valuable to you as a melee than it is to a wiz or evoking divine since you actually get hit fairly regularly. My bard has blindnessward, Cha skills, SP con op and I couldn't live without it.

I like my 16bard/2rog/2fgt a metric bleepton more than my 18/2rog. Both are warchanters, both are THFers. There is no tier 3 bard PrE, and 16 seems to be the sweet spot. The extra feats gained from fighter can be used to pick up Overwhelming Critical (which needs Cleave and Great Cleave.)

Currently, there is only little reason to go 18/2.

What's your Reflex going to be? I don't see much neccesity to take the Fighter dilly. How about the paladin one?

For a warchanter, CHA is nice, but not a really improtant attribute. I'd probably drop it to 14.
