Add protectees to party...

Whenever a quest requires protecting someone, please add that person to the party. Doing so would make it much easier to monitor their health as well as select them for healing.

This change would make all those protection quests MUCH more bearable.

Just to add:

I just failed at The Last Stand on elite with my level 11 cleric because I left Viercha (or whatever his name is) for literally seconds, maybe three or four, while I killed some mobs a few feet away. Not off the platform, just a few feet away.

He apparently got one or two shotted by something, because within three or four seconds of not having him selected he let out a scream (probably "I'm a weakling loser!") and died.

I had cast everything on him except invisibility, which I don't have.

If he was able to be added to the party, I would have seen his healthy dropping rapidly and healed him. He is usually fairly hardy, so I didn't think stepping ten feet away for three seconds would be fatal.


In my opinion, adding protectees to the party so I can see their health bar and easily target them for heals would make all of those annoying protection quests MUCH easier to bear.

They could add the hp/sp bar like a 7th memeber in a raid.

Even just a little health bar like you get with the Dogs or Animal Companions for the person who spoke with him last, hopefully the healer type in your group. I know I usually try to hard lock him into the focus orb and try like heck to not actually target specific foes by using general melee or area of effect or burst spells.
