Otto's Chest Purchase

Not sure if there is an issue or I am missing something, but I purchased 5 Otto's Chests and the store will not let me purchase anymore. The below message is displayed.

"We are sorry, we were unable to successfully process this transaction, please try again later."

I just want to buy 2 more and I dont see anywhere that there is a limit. I posted a ticket on this issue, but I wanted to see if any of you know anything about this.

I had exactly the same experience.... Seems to me like the store only allow me to buy 5. If this is a limit it should have been mentioned somewhere.

Umm what time did you try the sale was to end on the 20th EST

I tried yesterday. First I tried to buy 6, got the same message as mentioned by Bnfear, then I tried buy 3 which worked fine, tried to buy 3 again and got the same message, 2 worked fine but every try thereafter just gave the same message over and over. Tried again 6-7 hours later still didn't work

I would contact Account/Store support either via voice or submit a ticket on the support site at http://support.turbine.com

I'm would imagine for problems with purchases this size Turbine would be more than happy to provide what you are looking for.

Apparently people were able to purchase 10-30 boxes, so if there is a limit its not 5. Most likely it was an issue of timing with the end of the sale. You made your first post near midnight on the 20th (about 11pm EST).

Of course I bought them on time, it is a bug in the store. In fact I can not purchase many things in the store now. I did post a ticket, but I was wondering if someone knew something.

Some credit card companies auto decline multiple web sales in a short period of time. Orginially designed to stop consumers from using credit cards to fund their online gambling accounts.

I called Turnine and the answer is, you can only spend so many DDO points in a day and once you reach the maz, you are required to wait 24 hours to make another purchase.

They were able to work magic in the background and get me two more chests.

Did they happen to name the limits? I wonder if this is a new issue since there haven't been so many expensive items in the store before (the box and MotU). Meaning nobody ever really hit the limit before.

I would guess that 25,000 is the limit as I spent 24,975 and could spend no more.
