gear for fonk life

Despite being only lvl 16 on my 3rd wiz life, Im planning for the first FVS life for my main. Since I already got a pure FVS, I want to try a human wis-based unarmed 18/2 FVS/Monk (canned a fvs/rog/arti build I might try later). I might do some epic destiny farm, especially GMoF, but basically its a TR build.

my questions:
1) for the remaining 2 feats, what should I take? power attack, evo focuses, empower healing? No spell pen due to 3 wiz past lives and late implosion

2) What gear should I farm/prepare this life? I have decent wizard gear (torc/con-opp helmet/VPIS) but no real monk gear except for stonedust handwraps and garments of equilibrium. I can get a Jidz-Tetka easily, but am not sure what else would be nice for monkish melee at low lvls. Spare Hand? I might need belt slot for fortification. I might have some lower tier brawling gloves on another char. Hands free spellpower items would also be interesting. Not sure if I want to farm ToD rings, although a +1/+2 wis one might be interesting for more divine PLs.

I like having Heighten on divine casters for extra DCs on spells like Greater Command and Slay Living/Destruction. My 18/2 took spell pen, but I don't have past lives. My preference is Empower over Empower Healing, since I like nuking and (Mass) Heal hits for so much already. Your situation might be different since you're taking Implosion instead of Mass Heal. However, I would point out that Empower is only 5 SP more than Empower Healing... shouldn't be too much of an issue if you have a torc in your cache.

Devotion lootgen does happen on hats and I believe rings. You can Cannith-craft them on flexible shards on armour and trinkets too. While levelling, I resorted to a combination of jumping out of melee and switching to devotion weapons when healing was required, popping scrolls (devotion doesn't matter), and just casting anyway.

I think I used the Spare Hand while levelling; I was quite happy with the stunning fist DC. I also had Cannith-crafted kamas for DC casting (Evocation, Necro, Enchantment)--these do not appear to be generated in random loot kamas. Impulse/Radiance on a thaumaturgy staff would also be good. Unfortunately, Radiance Lore is only on lootgen shields/armour and Kinetic lore was bugged with Blade Barrier last I heard, so you may have to resort to blue dragon armour to get your crits.
