Imp. Feint only works with unarmed attacks?

A visit to Fred and I swapped out Precision today on my stick fighter for Imp. Feint feat. Experimenting with the ability it seems to only trigger when I am fighting unarmed or with handwraps.

Major game bummer. Its nice to see the bluff icon go off on top of a horde of mobs. I just want to be able to finish them all off with a sneak attack great cleave.

Certainly not wai?

Has it been this way a long time? Is there a point in keeping the feat in hopes of a fix?

Did I waste my free feat swap?

I used Imp Feint all the time on my Horcrobat stick build: works fine, but the trick is there's a slight delay between using IF and the effect procing; if you attack too soon, you cancel the feint. So make sure you wait until after the Bluff icons show up over the mobs' heads before atking.

Caveat: haven't played my HO stick build since before U16; so for all I know they broke IF (again) since then.

This is very concerning I just rolled up a 1st life vet status 2 horcobat 2 days ago!

I have continued to test and indeed the Improved Feint is only triggering when unarmed or using handwraps. Any weapon equipped and it just fails to trigger, period.

I have seen some other posts now that mention Imp Feint being bugged. Does seem to be a U16 thing. I never taken the feat on previous characters so I have no frame of reference.

Only a sad.
