Hate this one. Performance is so frequently bad.

I've searched the forums on it, and it seems to be fairly well known and there are even creditable ideas as to why.

What I didn't find was any discussion on what could be done about it (programming wise) nor any dev comment. While there were plenty of "check instance upon entering and bail if it's 2049", there wasn't much else.

There are comments out there by MajMal regarding i2049. Basically what was deduced by the forumites was the tip of the iceberg and they are still trying to figure out what to do about it.
