Did you ever use one of the MOTU ones? I still got an old one, but i think the old restrictions still apply. I sure can't use it on myself. I tried and tried.

Only the owner of the stone can actually use it, so if traded it becomes useless. You may want to change what you want to the holiday bundle instead, then when you open the bundle you are the owner of the stone.

In case you didn't notice in the thread linked above, the original owner of the stone CAN use it on someone else, meaning technically you can trade for the levels.

To use the stone on someone else you have to join a party with the stone owner, they select your character and use the stone. Of course that makes trading rather tricky as it involves a fair bit of trust.

Anyway, just letting you know the deal (I hope everything I said is accurate!).
