Perhaps you are having a hard time with your raffle because your going about it the wrong way. I have had great success in the past with raffles by just having them and posting in general chat in game what the rules and prizes were.Your prizes also lack luster so you aren't going to lure many people in with them.

I think it has more to do with the negative postings in the forum here and negative slander that follows the mention of it in chat channels in game at time. Yet it probably has more to do with the fact that I haven't been a zealot about getting the word around. I might post a link twice a day in the chat in a few random areas. Its not going anywhere and people will find it in their own time.

I, too, have run many raffles the way in which you describe. In fact, I hosted a nice public Ice games raffle some time back. (Top prize was all of the upgrade recipes and motes to make the glaciation max recipe, with alot of other stuff for secondary prizes.) I made Raffleman around that time as well, because I like to do my raffles in my 'raffle' time and not be questioned about it in my quest time, which was becoming an issue for me.

I'm not trying to trade off inventory for a profit..And this is something I do while I'm too committed to what i'm doing on the Flip to manage a quest or loot. The fees i'm charging are more than fair and the idea of 200kpp+ win on an entry of 2kpp should be enough to draw anyone in..especially the new guys who really could use a (non pp) boost to their trading power.
(Mind that we are talking 200pp value per Greater Essence here.)

Don't even get me started on Small Eberrons...For the Free to Play person you can not find a better investment than Eberrons, period. Not only do they hold value, but i have seen the value of them grow with the population. You may be limited on plat, but you can always make some room for Eberrons

I tried to make this raffle something that would be beneficial to the whole community with a definite mind for those who are Free to Play..while still being something that would be of interest to me. I have little interest in things I find uninteresting :P
And if you don't have a use for either of those, and don't have a use for 10 Maj Mnem Potions..
However, if you feel you have something of equal value to any prize mentioned for a raffle and would like to offer as a trade for that prize, please feel free to include it here with a post and people can mark it as an optional in the subject of thier entries

I do intend to do some one time prize raffles too, one thing at a time though.
I'm doing this specifically because these are games I want to play, hope to win, and find affordable. I would hope anyone else doing it is in it for those very same reasons.
Now my question to you is ..
"When am I gonna get your entry??"
