At what level does a human fighter on a whirlwind path get exotic weapons proficiency please?
I've searched ddo wiki and it looks like level 6. That can't be right is it?

1. you are not obligated to stay on that path
2. it is a good idea to get off of that path asap and make your own decisions about how you want the character built.
3. You get a feat at levels 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15,18, 21, 24. fighters get a bonus feat at levels 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, and humans get an extra feat at level 1. Any of these can be used for exotic weapon proficiency, but if you let the game make this decision for you, I really don't know when it will pick it.
Thanks Guys, I should have said that it's not for me- it's for a new Guildie who has Zero experience of the game. I'm trying to keep him on a path for the time being so he gets the hang of things.
It looks like it will be level 6 then before he gets the 2WF. Thanks again all.

The answer is level 6.
You will take Exotic Weapon Proficiency Khopesh at 6th level as a human on the Fighter - Whirlwind path.
You can find out more here - Compendium Human Fighter Whirlwind.
Hope this helps you out.
IMHO, it would be better to point him to a character taken from these forums instead of using a path. He has very little to do in terms of decisions, but the resulting character will be better and he will see how feats, etc. are pciked.
