    Default Human FVS AOV Melee

    Had a plan to make pure spellsinger enchanter but decided to wait for Bard update, so came up with this FVS build.
    I have tons of stuff in my TR cache, some very nice medium and light armor, plus some good two handed swords, but WF FVS is not really an option. Don't have hOrc or hElf races, so i went with Human for extra feat and better heal amp.

    Evoker build is not really what i aim for (have another evoker, and that is enough), and was thinking adding a splash of fighter for feats or monk for feats and evasion. With 2 lvls of fighter will gain 3 feats (drop sword prof), so could take whole THF line, and with 2 monk levels, will net 2 feats. In both cases i loose DR at cap, SLA, and 1 lvl 8 spell and 2 lvl 9 spells. Spells are not that big deal, since most of the spells i will use are buff and heal (no wisdom, no DC), but DR and SLA are very nice.

    Now, my questions are:
    Do you think it is worth to splash fighter or monk on this build? Should i take some other feats (open to suggestions) before lvl 20 and which feats do you suggest for lvl 21 , 24 (was thinking cleave, and greater cleave).

    I went for AoV for i plan to raise my DPS with Divine Punishment and other light spells

    While ugly, Half Elves can go w/ Fighter Dilettante and swing the AGA / Carnifex / etc. early. For an easy investment, that works better than spending the one feat.

    I've run one, it was great fun. If you're planning on a quick TR I can see the fighter level but I personally wouldn't on a build I intended to stay at cap as there is no good melee PRE for FVS right now.

    I'm not sure what the 10 Dex is for; you really only need passing STR/CON and enough INT for the skills you want though, so you have room to move around.

    No reason to go fighter dilettante imo as with the changes in combat/ac etc my no STR wizard (even without using masters touch) doesn't have problems hitting... sad but true.

    Thanx for your feedback.

    I guess 10 dex and 10 int is not needed, since i can max jump with clicky and high str, so i can start with 18 str instead. Plan to keep the guy at cap for some time (until bard is reworked as i belive was hinted in some other thread), and will usually play the healer role in raids. So splash of fighter/monk is not needed for that role, but raising the DSP part with THF line looks good.

    If i go with fighter, can wear full plate for better PRR, and get DR from armor/item, so only loose SLA for heals. Monk will give me evasion, but with low dex even with high FVS saves, that looks kinda bad choice, since i don't plan to hit with monk weapons, and limits me to light armor or no armor at all.
    Anyone with fvs/monk toon? Speak up!
