Can someone please explain to me how "Bound to Character on Acquire" items are showing up on the AH?

While it is most likely an error, why does it matter to you? Are you afraid someone is going to get insanely rich or that another player might have an item that will be better than what they already have?

I really don't have the time to look for things like this on the AH or to be worried that someone is getting away with something or that someone else might be gaining some benefit.

Now, if it is a situation where the bid goes thru and the item sells, where the seller gets the plat but the buyer doesn't get the item (because it was supposed to be bound) then I could see a personal post griping about wasted plat and another buyer beware thread.

But, I don't get why it is all that important. Bug report it and let it go if it matters that much to you.

I understand that the issue is an anomaly, and that is all I know. Could be a bug, could be Turbine posting items up for sale, could be an undocumented feature, could be an exploit, could be bugged gear or BTCOE flag. That is precisely why I asked because I don't know.

If you could actually provide even a smidgen of useful information on the subject as opposed to criticizing my interest, question and post, that would be appreciated.

No, wasn't me. I don't even game on Khyber. Too much drama for me -- as evidenced by the negative reactions to my post.

I just don't understand how or why it matters. Seriously, why should anyone care? And, if they really did what value is there in posting it here in the forums?

Do the people that can check on and fix the problem sit around all day looking for threads here in the forums? Are they running key word searches hoping to find every mention of bugs with the game?

I seriously doubt it.

What has the greatest chance of working (and note, I'm not giving it much chance of success) -- bug report it.

Now, once more, if I were silly enough to bid on the items and somehow ended up winning them AND if when I went to the mail there was nothing there but I lost my money -- then I could understand coming to the forums and posting a warning to my fellow players.

If the gear is bind to character on equip then it can be bought, sold, traded without restriction -- just don't put it on, because if you do it changes to bound to character. Does that help you at all?

Obviously that does not apply since both armors are bind to character on acquire.

If it is an exploit what is the remedy? Report it.
If it is a bug what is the remedy? Report it.
If it is Turbine posting items then ask that question directly -- I've never heard of them doing so and can't fathom why they would.
If it is an undocumented feature that is just another name for a bug (but one the isn't likely to be fixed anytime soon) and the remedy for that is? Report it.

As for useful contribution to your thread, I did tell you to report it and that applies in most of the situations you ask about.
