Is "I Dream of Jeets" A Broken Quest?

Or did I miss something major, even using the walkthrough?

So I get to the end, having finished the three dream areas through each of the mirrors, then grabbed the bacon from the lower mirror. Then when I return to speak to Jeets to progress, nothing happens. He does not speak to me or move to unlock the north door as the walkthrough suggests he will. No way to end the quest unless he does what he's supposed to, right?

Tried this twice, results the same both times.

Did I miss something along the way or is this quest broken?

I completed it two days ago so I'm guessing you missed something or are really really unlucky.

For the three dream areas, each completed, Jeets left the area, and the mirror to let you out formed? You didn't ddoor out or anything like that?

you need to get the lower mirror before all three are completed, sometimes when your gone something get missed, bad trigger or something like that. hope this helps

Thanks so much, all! Really appreciate the responses. Yes, it was total user error. *blush* And a badly written walkthrough. It says, "Don't smash those barrels and only go through that tavern door if you can unlock doors and have dimension door and get out quick before the spiders spawn." So I did.

Then come to find out, No, all party members do go into the tavern even if they can't do those things AND you're supposed to smash the barrels to finish that part. Sheesh. Convoluted mess, but it ended up being a fun quest anyway.

you're probably supposed to go in bottles twice with that walkthrough; the first time, you get a key for the back side of coins. then you do the front side of coins, where you get a key for the back side of bottles.

once you've done the front side of anything, you can no longer do the back side, so in order to get everything, you typically start by going into the front of bottles, finding the side room with the key for the back of coins, grab that, get out (ddoor), go into the back of coins, clear that, then go into the front of coins, clear it while getting the key for back of bottles, then go into the back of bottles and clear that, then finally go back into the front of bottles to complete the area. (then you move on to mist, of course).

of course, that presumes you care about getting every optional. if you just want faster completions, you can of course skip the back side of everything.
