I am looking for a desk microphone that wont break the bank but is still good quality.
I really dont like headsets, but would consider one that doesnt have the earphones.
Really I would like a proper microphone for Skype and DDO.
Got a good one? let me know please.

Can anyone recommend a good microphone (not a headset)
My demands are simple. Ducks, penguins and tortoises as pets. I'll buy hats and bow-ties for them all.

I use this Logitech desktop microphone for myself and son and have no problems at all with it. Sells for about $29.99.

The Logitech is a really good model, my W*** supplies
Them standard all of our computers...
(For employees who use "Dragon" software)

Don't know about desktop microphones. I usually buy the least-expensive clip-on I can find. The current one has lasted 3 1/2 years. I think I spent about $9 US on it.
Once upon a time, I was part of a team, and we saved some children. That was long ago and far away, and, yes, I am that old.

Im getting the Logitech desk mic. It's USB and not hanging around my neck.
I have a headset but its not USB which causes problems (Windows Vs Sound MB sound drivers) and I dont like headphones.
