Referral Points Not Credited - Known Bug?

UPDATE (December 20, 2012):
My referral points were finally credited yesterday (thank you!). I still don't know the reason they weren't credited before but very happy they were eventually credited.

A friend signed up to DDO on September 10, 2012 (it's shown on my referrals page) but just started actively playing a few days ago and purchased a bunch of points in the DDO store two days ago (December 4, 2012).

I haven't received any credit on my referrals page to date, so I filed a ticket (with lots of details) but got a response that it had been converted into a bug report and that I wouldn't receive any more correspondence on it and that if I reply it would be ignored (not received or looked at).

So what do I do now? Is there a known bug? Are referrals simply delayed a lot? Am I likely to receive my points when it's fixed? Or is there no known bug and now I'll never get referral points from this friend's purchases?

Has anyone else had problems receiving referral points lately or is this an isolated case?

The response I got leaves me wondering how I can solve this. (If I can't, there's less incentive for me to recruit anyone else new to the game.)
