How to train your kobold?

Does anyone know how to train your kobold?, mine has annoying habits, like.......




Everytime i pop a chest, he dives right in. I tried hitting mine with a rolled up newspaper, and spraying with water, but no luck, pls help.

purple crystal on a string at the end of the stick, kobolds will follow them for minutes!!!

Introduce him to a mimic. If that doesn't teach him at least you'll be rid of the troublesome beast and can get a better trained one.
