Let's see, fvs, so int is pretty much useless, str can be nice since I think I'm seeing a SoS there, but +4 tomes are starting to get more common so aren't that high a priority anymore, also it's only +1 stat over a +3, the quiver is what I would select to get 'slotless' striding covered, which would clean up the boot slots on most of my characters.....

But it all depends on what you're after, Upgrade Tomes are BTA so those can be passed around to alts that might be dying for them.

didn't bother to look at his hotbars, just went by what he was wearing, but now that you mention it, I do see a bunch of melee weapons in the right hand lower hotbar, also a lit 2 greatswords in the middle, 2nd from bottom, an epic noxious fang, and some random gen weapons which appear to be intended for melee (looking at the chaotic aligned greatsword mostly)

My opinion still remains the same though, +1 to a stat isn't worth as much (to me) as freeing up a slot that I can potentially use for a much greater benefit, unless I desire the tome to make it easier on qualifying for feats. Mostly looking at builds that need high stats for multiple epic feats, like overwhelming critical and vorpal strikes on a monk, or overwhelming critical and improved precise shot on a ranged char that doesn't have 11 ranger levels, as those +4 tomes could make qualifying infinitely easier.

Quiver > tomes > shroud, he already looted a circle of hatred, and you can see a noxious embers in his hotbars (yadayada, opinions may vary, he asked, I answer)

Already took the Str tome ;-)
Have 30% striding covered on Treads of falling Shadows and won't TR anytime soon.
And I like running abbot anyways, will get that quiver hopefully sometime :-)
Was just very surprised to see +4 upgrade tomes in the end reward table.

Seriously...maybe the Strength tome or The Deific Deidem.....the latter only if you have hieghten of course......I forget what Noxious Embers does...can't see the Circlet helping you much unless you plan to TR into a PM.

Equivilents or better can be had elsewhere, they are just much higher ML. The question then would be if youre going to TR alot after you pull one of those loot items.

This is looking significantly better than other abbot 20 or multiple thereof completion reward lists Ive seen posted on these forums previously, heh.

I would definitely take a +4 tome. Those items are easier to farm than tomes (got most of those items, but only two +4 tomes ever pulled).
And tomes don't take bank space, you can give them to your mule toons if not need atm.

I like the quiver options since it resides in that extra slot and allows you to use any boots you want. ie GS etc.

Striding on the quiver means you don't have to take worthless grade boots. Depending on how the epic augment overhaul goes, the double slotted boots of corrosion or rock boots could easily become the best boot option hands down, and neither has striding.

The duration on the noxious embers is pretty . Plus it's fairly likely to go up for roll, the quiver isn't, people stop running abbot once they've gotten their quiver.

The pro choice is the quiver. But then this is a melee caster, so the pro choice is out the window. Take the diadem to look pretty.
