Elite:Dangerous

About as off-topic as it gets and I hope I don't get told off for mentioning a completely different game, but I have recently discovered that the holy grail of gaming may actually be happening.

I am of course referring to the fabled Elite IV, something that I have been waiting roughly 20 years to see. David Braben has launched a Kickstarter project to make this game a reality and it has already passed the 50% funding milestone.

Considering what was achieved by the original Elite in 22kb I can't wait to see what can be done with modern computing power
