Default SSD upgrade needed soon. advice?

So I have a 2 year old OCZ Agility 64Gb SSD installed that only has Win7 and the game on it. Between the windows updates and the game file size, the drive is nearly 75% full now. Not home right now so I cant give specs but I know the technology/performance has improved dramatically in last 2 years. Not worried so much as to which drive to buy as I can figure that out but what I am wondering about is whether to start with fresh install of windows and game or ghost my drive over to new one. Everything runs smooth as silk right now. I experience better than average memory leak issues with the game when swapping toons (only crashes after a dozen or so swaps) and my windows experience rating is 7.4. Any pros/cons ppl can post about ghosting would be appreciated but now that I think about it, is it possible to ghost from an SSD? Ive done it plenty of times before on HDD's but never bothered to check if its possible on SSD's.

Most SSDs come with a disk to allow you to ghost from one drive to the other so that shouldn't be an issue.

I prefer to do a fresh install. Helps to get rid of all the junk that's cropped up over a couple of years from various program updates. But it's a personal call. Depends if you want to spend time downloading a plethora of Windows Updates.

Good time to be buying a SSD. Prices dropped a few weeks ago. Just installed Samsung 830 256Gb in both the wife's and my laptops. £130 a piece.

Pretty much this. Bought the 128 GB version 3 weeks ago and I am absolutely happy with it.

Early on (and I mean really early, like 1st generation in 2008) ghosting software could have trouble with the differing page boundaries of SSDs, mainly when going from a HDD to a SSD.

Any modern ghosting software will be able to copy a SSD fine.

You may want to reinstall anyways just to have a fresh install of Windows, if your Windows install is very old.

I would recommend a ~256GB drive, a 256GB Crucial M4 is under $200 - well worth it for the breathing room. Do make sure you get a drive with a good controller, like a Crucial/Intel/Samsung.
