I haven't played this game in about two years now and I was wondering if it were possible for a support tech to locate the character I had previously created (I don't know the world I played on either) or tell me if they're erased if they're inactive for a certain period of time.

They won't erase characters. You can check myddo to see if it works for you. It *should* have a list of your characters with info like levels, guilds, server, etc.
Or you can just try logging in each server one by one.

I checked MyDDO but it said I didn't have any characters. However, I'm pretty sure that's not true since I don't think I ever deleted my character because when I quit playing, I simply removed the game from my computer.

he actually popped up in MyDDO after I created a new character.
