Default So, any thoughts on a F12/R7/M1

    Hello all,

I've been thinking of making a half-elf Fighter/Rogue/Monk and taking the cleric Dilettante feat. I'm thinking of going with hand wraps and bunching my way up tp 20. I tend to solo most often and I was wondering if this is a viable option. The rogue would be mostly for traps and UDM. I do have 32 point builds available.

I was also wondering if robes or light armor would be best.

If anyone knows a link to a build too, that would be great

    1. Im a fan of cleric dilettante tons of helpful scrolls (esp. since you solo a lot)

    2. That could work 12 fighter giving 7 extra fighter feats, a solid H.P. pool, could go either Kensai (more offensive) or Stalwart defender (more defensive)

Rogue giving trap skills, evasion, umd, 4d6 sneak attack damage ( extra 1d6 sneak attack if you go assassin 1 ).

Monk giving you basic stances, the fighting style and a bonus monk feat

    3. easy Handwraps = Robes

heres one i found just now to give ya some tips http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=351312 at the end of the thread its current although hes decided to go 1 druid instead of 1 monk, anyways GL.

Ive played many variations of this build, both dex and str based.

Might be gear intensive looking at your join date but has been incredibly fun to play, lotsa of versatility, and competent in self-healing through UMD.

My fav though was 13rog/6ftr/1monk, simply because i liked +2 str from ftr lvls + feats and alot of backstab damage. Just enough feat slots to squeak in everything I wanted.
Bear in mind this character has 13 past lives and loves the rogue PL feat.
The extra stat points plus the abundance of rare gear acquired since late '06 makes him capable of being above average.

Although, my new fav atm is 13 monk/7 rogue dark ninja spy
Stat dmg wraps bring the backstab almost as quick as radiance.

    Why go 7Ranger 1 Monk?

6 Ranger/2Mon gets you an extra feat Plus evasion. I cant imagine anything Ranger 7 gives you comes close to that.

    OP is going 7 Rogue

I have done this kinda of split twice now. Can be alot of fun. Tho with 1 monk level I wouldn't focus on unarmed combat.

Link to one of the ones I did for reference. Might be a bit dated, but there might be something of worth from its read.

13 fighter gives you nothing really...

7 rogue gives you the next step up for SA.

That's why 12/7/1 (rog 7) has been a proven build in the past.
