It seems to me that there are less players at any hours of the day on thelanis after the update 16.
it's only my impression or someone confirm that ?
Update 16 for me was a real pain in the kneck..

SWTOR went live with their f2p option about the same time.
That could explain some who are missing as well.Farm astral diamonds in game. I've been playing for only a year + a bit but I already have 2 astral diamonds. 3 more and I'll be able to do something with them.

Less players overall? Less players in your guild? Less players on your friends list? Or less LFMs?
Seems to me like there are always a ton of players online during peak hours, according to the WHO tab. But a vast majority of them play exclusively solo, with static parties, or in guilds. And Mabar has been sucking up a lot of people's gaming hours lately.
Like I said though, doesn't seem to be an overall drop in players, but the decline in PUGs has been ongoing for years. Especially for higher level content.
If it's your guild or friends that are absent, get a new guild or friends. 'Nuff said.

Maybe people are annoyed by mobs or players getting stuck in walls and unable to complete quest.

Not on Thelanis myself, but I would like to point out holidays will often take some people away, and students would have finals coming up.
