Okay I downloaded and installed the game but then there's no launcher at all. The quick launch is not working either,I don't know whats wrong and I am at my wits end trying figure this out.

Which Windows Operating System are you using?
On my Windows XP 32-bit system there's both a desktop icon and a menu option. The desktop icon points to:
C:\Program Files\Turbine\DDO Unlimited\TurbineLauncher.exe

In some version of windows (I don't remember which one), the link gets put into the start menu under games. Give that a shot or make the shortcut manually.
