Default Potion of Wonder: New Effects - player suggestions

Since the new dev video said they would add new effects to the Potion of Wonder table I thought perhaps we players could pass them some ideas on how to populate that table.

Effect #1. Polymorph. Change into a Pit Fiend with appropriate stat modifiers and immunities. Lasts five minutes.

Effect #2. Polymorph. Change into Coyle. Instantly generate 10,000 hate. -20 penalty to CON. Highly susceptible to stun-based effects. Lasts five minutes.

    Suggest your effects here:

Although I am immediately tempted to come up with a ton of bad things to happen to the consumer....

... I think the potions should also give very good buffs as well.

They should be a true gamble, with high payoffs and great risks IMO.

I'm for hour long buffs btw. So you can enjoy the whole dungeon. Give players a lot of tempation to roll the wonder dice.

    Default stacking

I'm not going to comment on new spells/effects. I would however like to see the potions stack like all other potions. Before the change to the dal-quor festivus cakes, they would have random effects, and they stacked. So it is possible. I love em but 1 per inventory slot is not great.

    Bunk,
If you watch the video with Tolero and Feather of Sun then you will find that your wish is coming true with patch 1. Wonder potions will be stackable.

Here's an interesting thought/idea on the potion of wonder. Polymorphs the character into a barrel. Minute/2 minute timer. If the barrel is smashed then a random item based on character level is dropped. Of course if the barrel is smashed the character dies.

    Otherwise.

    A source of healing amplification.

Polymorph a character to/from warforged. From warforged would be random race/same gender.

Temporary gender change. Appearance based on original char generation choices for hair etc. (in case of store bought hair)

Movement speed -80% tumble +50 requiring characters to hop like a frog to get anywhere fast. Up side is they will be able to travel fast if tumbling.

Edit: Thought of another good one. Inverted damage. monsters receive the damage they would deal to you, you take the damage you would deal to them. For Red Dwarf fans this would be the same effect as the Justice zone.

Effect #97 30% xp. Effect expires on death, resting, or leaving the dungeon.

Effect #63 Fly. As per the spell that the Storm Reaver casts.

I think temporary granting some of the epic destinies abilities could be fun and would function as a preview for new and old players playing in the heroic tiers considering buying the destinies upgrade.

I would also like anything that gives visual effects, wraith form, taken (as the cookie), poly morph into a wolf (like druid wolf form, which also serves a preview function), kobold poly morph (as from challenges, but would be fun if you could attack and play as one for a while), gender change, hair style change etc.

Most things that the rest of the party can see is often fun. All kobold quest runs etc. (likely with a hundred random buffs and de-buffs as well before everyone gets kobold ^^)

Wishfully wanting to not forget the various Rod of Wonder effects:
Heavy rain, summon rhino, vomit gems, cloud of butterflies, and delusion.

    And for new stuff:
    Abundant step for 5 seconds.
Double the remaining timer of ship buffs.
    Wolf attracting pheromones.

Swap realities. Temporarily can control of another player (without inventory tab) while they gain control over you.

I miss the old days when you'd drink a Potion of Cometfall or Chain Lightning and wipe your entire lowbie group. That didn't last long.

Serious suggestions though. Some very beneficial, one a clear drawback, and others that are mixed blessings:

1 - HP regen over time: Regenerates 5% of your max HP every 3 seconds for 2 minutes. Positive energy effect so healing amp applies. (This is a huge total amount of HP but the individual packages wouldn't be all that large)
2 - SP regen over time: Regenerates 50 SP over 3 seconds for 1 minute (1000 SP total). Replaces some of the mneumonic effects on the potions.
3 - Fire Shield (as the spell, both versions)
4 - Incinerating Weapons (cast on your currently equipped weapon not on you, 10 min duration, weapon gains Incineration proc)
5 - Necrotic Withering (cursed potion): Absorbs the next X HP of positive energy healing you recieve, where X is your current max HP. (Probably coded similarly to Protection from Elements but affecting positive energy). Removed by shrining, after 10 minutes, or by feeding the curse sufficient healing to use it up.
6 - Hyperaggression: +8 morale bonus to Strength and 20% to Doublestrike for 90 seconds. Drawback: -75% Fortification and -20 PRR (minimum of 0).
7 - Arcane Mindset: +8 morale bonus to Int and Cha. Spell cast time reduced 20%. (90 seconds). Drawback: -40% melee/ranged attack speed, -20% movement speed.
8 - Divine Mindset: +8 morale bonus to Wis. Spellpoint costs reduced 20%. +50 alchemical bonus to Positive spellpower (90 seconds). Drawback: (not sure of something that fits the theme here)
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

See that is the kind of mix I'd like to see. Powerful good things, powerful bad things. Make it worth the risk of drink, and yet make sure there is a risk.

level drain and death attacks have to be part of it.
