A particular soul that I'm sure doesn't read the forums told me that if I'm not wearing heavy armor I'm 'wasting an asset' no matter what class I am. So I decided to give it a go..as a rogue.



What do you think? Almost able to tank suulo on normal vod if I'm lucky.

I personally prefer to hug things to death, because rogue monks are cute and cuddly ^_^

Without evasion you'll take extra damage from his spells. I wouldn't.

You can get high AC without heavy or medium armor. I can hit over 90 sustainable with light armor on my pure rogue. Duoed normal VoD with a friend with that. You also lose some dodge bonus.

PRR is about the only benefit of heavy armor for evasion toons, but still not worth it.

All I can really say, is that the only thing I would do with heavy armor on that build is sell it. Then again, the same goes for medium and light armor as well. Some people just don't seem to understand builds that are more complex than "equip armor, hit enemy with axe".

As much as I appreciate the sincerity of the advise offered, this was mostly to be a joke post. A display of taking some of the worst advice in game chat I've seen and applied it as the adviser had told me to.

Despite what a lot of people might say, I'm a pretty competent player (in this game.) Not to the point I'm solo'ing EE content but I'm not exactly new to the game. This current build wasn't meant for EE content either. One that I wanted to have fun with on my path to completionist. Only druid life left to go before that happens now.

but he is also a monk, he can get evasion from that. duh.

I think the point is that equipping heavy armor removes evasion.

Also, don't forget to use khopesh. They are the best weapon in the game, and not using khopesh would be a horrible, horrible thing.
