Default 19 November International Toilet Day

I would like to have some attention to this particular issue.

I will copy paste some text, this is not a laughing matter:

World Toilet Day is observed annually on 19 November. This international day of action aims to break the taboo around toilets and draw attention to the global sanitation challenge.

Can you imagine not having a toilet? Can you imagine not having privacy when you need to relieve yourself? Although unthinkable for those living in wealthy parts of the world, this is a harsh reality for many - in fact, one in three people on this globe, does not have access to a toilet! Have you ever thought about the true meaning of dignity?

World Toilet Day was created to pose exactly these kind of questions and to raise global awareness of the daily struggle for proper sanitation that a staggering 2.5 billion people face. World Toilet Day brings together different groups, such as media, the private sector, development organisations and civil society in a global movement to advocate for safe toilets. Since its inception in 2001, World Toilet Day has become an important platform to demand action from governments and to reach out to wider audiences by showing that toilets can be fun and sexy as well as vital to life.

Yes, that's true, although I don't have first hand information on this, but my aunt's friend met someone...

We should gather in the Temple of the Sovereign Host to show our solid waste solidarity.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank the OP for providing me the chance to inform my sister that her birthday falls on world toilet day. Thank you very much, OP.

Aghhh! why do we have to put up with this ****!

The above statement is a slight paraphraseing heres to Thomas Crapper, an interpid yorkshire man who was sick of putting up with every ones waste and so invented a wonderful device we all (in the western world) use today.

His invention was so successful his name became synonamous with the waste it was removing.

    Three cheers for crapper!

IMHO, we should take a few minutes out of our day today to solemnly reflect on those whose lives were lost due to various freak toilet accidents. Not only should we remember those who lost their lives but we should also remember their family members and the struggles they face on a day-to-day basis.

Fluffy lost her life shortly after this picture was taken.

Please keep her and her humans in your thoughts and prayers.

The heart is surely not a part of the anatomy we need for this movement.

Arjiwan, we wanted to do it in Argonessen, but we have a very full schedule.

At the 4th December we want to celebrate King Tupou Day, to honor all our players from Tonga.

The only questions I have is: At the event will you be passing out any party favors? Consider 'commode'ations.

May you have a susessful "event."

All kidding aside, it is very easy to make light of this particular day.

But there is more truth to the op than you may see at first glance...
My wife is from the Phillippines. She and her family are lucky,
they are from a more populated area so she has running water
and access to "facilities" but i have see other parts of the country
where they are not so lucky, And the luxury of satiation can not be ignored.

In my travels In the service on more than on "occasion" I have
Found myself an... "Inconvienced Dwarf." as "facilities" were not to be had.
The sanitation and health conserns of the lack of such a simple thing are
something That should not be ignored.

    I salute you.

It takes a lot of guts to post something
You had to know would draw a lot of humorous fire
but is far more serious than people would think.

    Thanks,

I've been a lot of places and seen a lot of things...

Some things.. I wish I could forget...

But it serves to remind me how blessed we are to have what we do.
We should always remember that There are those around the world
whom we forget are not so fortunate as we are.
