Default Newb question about armor crafting

So I purchased a spiritcraft leather with small guild slot so I could craft it up for my rouge, when I disjuncted it, it ofcourse saved the small guild slot.

Yet is says min level 16...

Are light armors leveled? Plain, Skirmish, Feycraft, Spirit and Celestial? If that is so where is the level break or how do you find it?

It depends on what enchantments are on the armor such as +3 and other things like Stability etc. All these add up to generate the level at which the armor can be used at, now if I remember right the enchantment number (the number in the top right corner of the item description needs to be multiplied by 2 and then minus 1 so for example:

    +5 armour (enchantment) x 2 = 10 - 1 = 9 (so it would be minimum level 9).

I am not sure on how guild slots affect the minimum level of an item though this might prove useful to you ---> Click Me

    Hope this helps

Skirmish, Feycraft, Spiritcraft and Celestial all have an absolute minimum level. Even if you deconstruct them the minimum level stays. So spiritcraft has an absolute minimum level of 16. See http://ddowiki.com/page/Armor_by_Proficiency.
