Bulat and tinker's goggles

I try to find the tinker's goggle for my rogue and my art. According to wiki, they drop from either Bulat (rare encounter in the Cannith explorer area) or from schemes of the enemy (normal or hard). I grinded schemes (master of hounds and spider chest) for some times, both in hard and normal, ransacked the quest several time. They never dropped, but I have plenty gloves and boots. I tried to grind Bulat, but he simply never spawned so far. I use the explorer map on wiki (http://ddowiki.com/page/Map_of_House...th_Manufactury). On about 10 run, never seen him. Not once. On the other hand, I've met wrack, another rare spawn, almost every time.
Do I do something wrong ? I can't remember about Bulat, I killed him about 1year ago, when the adventure pack was released, and I dropped the goggle for my other rogue. Is there something to do to make him spawn ? Or is he incredibly rare ? Maybe wiki is wrong and he is somewhere else/wander ? Bug ? Full party needed to make him spawn ?

Bulat spawned on one out of three runs yesterday on Cannith, and Wrack does seem eager as it spawned all three times

He's just a pretty rare spawn, unlike Wrack, who likes to show up all the time.

Yea I remember farming that rare too, Once I ransacked Wrack's chest before I got 1 spawn for Bulat.

both from schemes of the enemy elite

in fact u can get more than 1 cause there're plenty chests (4 or 5?)

maybe the % drop is higher, too, dunno, too XD

Guess I'm no lucky. Doesn't surprise me. I'll try schemes in elite, see if I have more luck.

Yeah, run schemes on elite for sure - the tinker's set should be dropping like candy (more than the boots). The explorables were dropping all their named items far less. You're doing it right, just bad luck.

I can't find this jerk either. Wasted hours going in and out after each reset, probably about 25 times all up. Got the first three rares in the first two runs, never saw him. Sick of this time wasting BS that Turbine tortures us with. I have always hated these rare spawns but this one takes the cake.

I'll be shoving this adventure pack where the sun don't shine and moving on to something else.

I farmed Bulat by waiting in MA for instance to reset. I doubt it made a difference, but I didn't have to run through the entire "wilderness" to get to his spawn point.

Map spawns seem to be based on characters in the party.

I have guildies test things and certain combinations of characters can change spawn rates of rares. You may find a combination of characters will dramatically increase or decrease drop spawn rates for example.

If you are not having luck with the character you are running, try running it with a few other players or a different combination of a group.

No way to to figure out which will work without trail and error.

I farmed like crazy for the goggles, even got Bulat a number of times--no goggles.

Did Schemes a number of times on normal and hard and kept getting the gloves, not the goggles. (I think I got the gloves about five times.)

Good to know that I need to run it on elite.

Just a little over a year for him, but it is Tarrell having Goggles trouble now.
