    Default WF defender

    Has anyone try to build a WF tank before? Me and few friends it thinking to make a small group that all WF so Sorc can take up both controller and healer role. And not to worry about divine healing suck on WF. What do you guys think? Any one have a test build?

    Did the Reconstruct nerf/bug get patched in U16? That was probably the biggest problem with playing a WF tank in an all-WF static group, given that you have an arcane for Repairs. Although the lack of "repair amp" is still a detriment to WF tanks vs human / HE tanks, IMHO.

    Otherwise, a WF tank build is a lot like a regular tank, with all the usual tradeoffs: ftr or pally, pure or splashed, etc. About the only difference is whether you take a body feat.

    Only if going for Evasion; and even then WF are kinda borked because Mithril Body's MDB remains fixed at 5 rather than scaling with level like the new light armor types do. At least their base AC scales with the min. level of their docents, but WF are (again) at a disadvantage compared to fleshie races.

    I tend to waffle a lot on the optimal stats, feats, etc. for a tank. Nevertheless, in your case I would probably do something like this:

    ED: Legendary Dreadnought, ideally with Legendary Shield Mastery twisted in

    DPS-focused, but with plenty of tactics options and pretty good HPs; relies more on WF threat amp than Intim, though. Since it's for a static all-WF group, I didn't bother with heal amp. As presented, MDB should cap at +7 (DEX 24): base 1 (Addy Body) + 2 Mobility + 2 SD III + 2 Greater Nimbleness slotted on epic docent; mithril tower shield will be base 4 + 3 SD III, so that balances out too. So depending on your max DEX (or final Dodge bonus), you may need extra armor and/or tower shield mastery enhs.

    You're welcome. BTW, you might want to check to see if WF are finally getting the correct PRR from their body feats. Not that I would necessarily drop Addy Body if they don't - under the new AC system, it's still at least semi-worthwhile, IMHO - but it'd be nice if Turbine had unnerfed at least a couple of WF shortcomings this time.
