dnd client

After this last update i can't get the client to start. i log in, no problem. itgoes to character selection np problem. it then goes to the welcome to ebberon page. sits there a few minutes and then the dnd client crashes.

Rather than start on a long list of detailed questions, I'll suggest a few things that tend to cover most cases.

If I assume everything ran fine before the update, and you received no errors during the update, I would do this:

- Defragment the drive.
- Recycle your modem and router.
- Restart the PC and try again, see if it works now. Try twice. The first loading always takes much longer.
- Be sure to remove and re/add DDO files to your firewall.
- Try the "repair graphics/game settings" option in the drop arrow menu of the launcher.

Those are the quick things, after that it becomes more work...

i've done all those things. including contacting my internet provider and have them resend their signal to me.
nothing helps.

...and before getting into some of the more weird stuff, did you do a complete uninstall/reinstall just to be sure? (I hate asking that!)

How much RAM/what windows version?
