Giant whiner

I had the honor of pulling a gauntlets of eternity last night from the reavers raid in gh. Lucky me first time i ever pulled anything decent but im a sorcerer and have no need for them so naturally i put up for roll. Let me start by saying Im a firm believer of your loot is yours and mine is mine to do with as i please, I never begrudge anybody anything even if i roll on something and lose. Oh well i get to play some more and keep searching no big deal for me. Anyways back to gauntlets so in chat i post " Gaunlets for roll d100 anyone". I am in a one man guild mine so no guildies friends nothing just random pug So this is how i wanna do. 2 people rolled for this item one being a druid and one being a paladin, paladin wins roll druid got really p. o. d and says something like "why r u rolling a pally dont need those" i says i put them up for whoever wants to roll as it is my loot till i pass it. Druid still rants about it and says"have fun putting it in your backpack" . Then rage quits party but should have waited cause there was other stuff up for roll but oh well he left. I sent that druid a pm telling him "where do you get the nerve to tell people to not roll, Maybe if you explain things better instead of being a %$3$^7 and getting upset and maybe the winner passes it to you" My opinion is you get more flies with honey than you do with vinegar, so why be a jerk about a game. Just a sidenote am I missing something or would a paladin make more use of those gauntlets than a druid? Just seemed real odd that he/ she would begrudge a paladin a turning item with healing amp LOLOLOL anyways just my thoughts and btw that druid is squelched. No name are mentioned to protect the innocent lol. Have fun gamers see ya in khyber

I can see why a pally would want them too, it's a decent twink item for anyone with self healing, paladins included.

Druid sounds like a tollbag, no loss there.

Just a sidenote am I missing something or would a paladin make more use of those gauntlets than a druid just seemed real odd that he/ she would begrudge a paladin a turning item with healing amp

Anyone can use the healing amp....

As for the actual stats:
Enchantments

◦ Heal +13
◦ Repair +13
◦ Devotion +60
◦ Major Healing Lore

Those are awesome for a druid. Gloves that fill my heal slot instead of a weapon so I can run around with my fireswords (which are damage based on wisdom) yes please.

That stat however, pure cleric, think paladin too so... not sure what the druid's issue was with the pally getting it.

I can just imagine the drama my rogue is going to get over the next few lives as I continue to roll on rogue gear while making my round on the other classes. Will be classic fun.

In regards to the loot, ignore the whiner. Always amuses me when people think they're entitled to something that didn't drop for them.

Least some random didn't roll on it to sell to the guy, like what happened in an Abbot i was in.. that was classy!

And for the fact that i sent the guy a pm that was cause he left too early from party and the message was dont tell people how to roll on my items no need to reply u r squelched. Now if thats flaming then too bad but from my viewpoint i was defending myself and calling an idiot out on his behaviour not in party chat but personally so he can reflect on his loserness or whatever THUmbs down to you too naaah naaah a booo booo flame on

There was a question in your OP? Honest to god I read it and missed the question. Heck I just reread it and still don't know what your question was. It seemed to just be a rambling rant. He had a point about your OP.

To anyone who has read my wall of text's, Very sorry , I will space things more and make it easier to read.

I've been relying on computer editing software to correct things and have gotten lazy over the years.

I now know i must get back into typing form before posting. hope this is easier on the eyes

Just make all loot bound upon chest opening to character...no more passing off loot......make an NPC that will trade you named loot for other named loot...of course it would have to be something like a 20:1 ratio or more for some items....or maybe you would have to pull a anmed item along with a special gem only found in said chest...something like that...something generic that no one would want to pass anyways because it would always be useful.

Nuff said......all this rolling for someone elses stuff turns my stomach.

Either that or instead of an NPC trader if you pull a named item and don't want it you can destroy it in chest and it increases your chances of a named item next time you run the same quest...this may be hard to code tho.

I HATE that idea. It destroys the cooperative nature that raids generally have. This will be particularily harmful to more casual players who may never run 20 raid runs on one raid on one character ever.

Yeah...well loot passing just helps to generate hard feelings many times over.......you know...read Lord of the Rings......that is what named raid loot is.

Yeah some people have the composure and good will not to care......but how many of us can honestly say even when we didn't publicly cry in party chat that we should have gotten it instead......how many can say we don't get that...."WT* this sucks I really wanted that" feeling when we lose a roll.

Be gone with the passing system period.....yeah people have the right to play how they want...but one of evils strongest weapons is making something everyone wants but not something everyone can have.

Yeah the people who whine are immature....but guess what...they are usually the ones who create the biggest problems too.
