Exclamation Rogue / Fighter... But which one to take to level 12?

I can't seem to decide on being ROG 8 / FTR 12 for Fighter Bonus Feats

or ROG 12 / FTR 8 for Evasion bonuses and trapping

I mean, I love trapping, Rogue is my favorite class... but the sneak attack damage with a Greatwep and Power Attack is pretty sweet too, being able to Crit 60-110 and 40-80 on Flank.

Currently I am level 12, 6 in either class. I can trap up to level 14 quests.

I think a Rogue/Fighter multiclass would be better off with something like 18/2 or 19/1 with Rogue as primary. You get the extra feat and BAB from Fighter but you're still able to get that 3rd tier of Prestige.
Ghallanda - Deltree (Rogue 11), Niecih (Cleric 14) Pemn (Barb 8), Ehseri (Sorc 3) - Blackmoor Defenders

I think most people would recommend 18/2 with either class being top. If THF then 18 ftr, if TWF then 18 rog. Rogue benifits greatly from TWF as they get massive sneak attack dice to each hand. The extra damage you can get to each hand if you go pure with capstone and assassin is pretty insane and can make int based assassins among the best single target DPS in the game (if not the best). 18/2 ftr/rog is a rogue splash mostly for evasion and so you can handle traps for awhile and will typically be a THF that will likely go the route of LD for the damage output. A more even mix will be fine for levelling, but as you get closer and closer to cap you'll likely find it falls a bit flat comparitively.

if you're already at 6/6 split and prefer rogue then I'd recommend 13rog 6ftr 1monk (if lawful), if not lawful then 1 barb

Whatever you end up choosing, don't take an even number of Rogue levels. They get their sneak attack dice on the odd levels.
