storm that hit nj

hello everybody I live in NJ I was recently hit by the storm not as bad as everybody else but pretty bad. I looks a lot of stuff my basement. lost my washer and dryer. Lost clothing for my children pictures a lot of their toys and one of my cars got flooded. The boiler and the water heaters where under 6' of water. the landlord will have to replace those. Like I said I didn't get as hard as every one else did. I still have a roof over my head but no heat and bathing in a tub with hot pot of water. Land lord has not given ok to replace anything yet. There is no place for me to go at this time due to work. My wife and 3 kids I sent off to her mothers. I do hvac and work is off the charts.

There is anther storm coming and they say to evac but I can't go stuburn I guess. Stitting here writing this on my tablet. Just to vent. I do hope this next one coming in will not be as bad. Have to much stuff lefty in this house to lose. But already started moveing most of it. Going to look for a house farther from the water and make sure no trees will fall on next place.

I look at how I only lost a few things and yet when I drive from town to town I see house's gone or fallen in. All I lost was a few pictures that I can't replace.


Just needed to vent. Funny thing is this tablet has a. Mined of its own and if I didn't proof read this first u would not been able to read this. One last thing just got power back today

Sad to hear you've lost so much. Glad to hear you and your family are ok. Great you have power back on.
