Disagree completely. I found it to be in poor taste and remarkably lacking in empathy. Like millions of other people, I had no power or internet for days and days. Specifically, I lost all services Monday night, fibnally got power back Saturday afternoon and then phone/internet/cable was restored this (Tuesday) afternoon, 8 days after I went dark. So I completely missed out on half of Mabar this year due to Sandy.

I was quite surprised they opted to run an event while so many people were clearly unable to get online or even heat their homes. Personally I think it was in poor taste.

So to show solidarity they should turn off their own electricity and heating? Wow, the logic of your complaint is mind boggling.

Add to the fact that any time the game is offline becomes a potential loss of the revenue and clients and it makes your post even sillier.

After the early glitches were identified, I enjoyed Mabar again this year and look forward to seeing it again during Thanksgiving. Thanks Turbine!

I also had a very good time this year in Mabar. Got to run some builds through that did not exist for the previous one. I even respec'd my lvl 22 PM to quasi-nuker but due to the spawn/instance problems, I just dropped back to my lvl 18 earth savant and thoroughly enjoyed it!
