    Default New to the server. Hey.

    Hey folks. I'm new to Orien, just moved here after coming back to DDO. I used to be on Thelanis, but switched for a new environment.

    Guess I just wanted to say hello to my new server and future friends.

    Anything I should know about this place?

    Hey welcome. I play a little bit on all of the servers (except Wayfinder), but chose Orien as my main server. On average, I would say there are more low drama working adults on Orien... at least that is my impression from exclusively pugging (almost) at all times of the day/night.

    I like Thelanis too though; it would be my second choice after Orien, so my impression might not be what you are after.

    I'll be playing all night tonight on a Paladin named Mallboll, toss me a tell and a party invite so we can all kill things together and hit 20!

    She's level 7 right now.

    yeah. that drama-fu is weak on Orien. mostly tight-knit...*reasonably* mature... not so much mega-guilds... lots of small guilds.

    Yea I noticed not many super-raid guilds, though I haven't touched 20 content here.

    Been seeing a lot of Defenders and True Chaos around my level.

    By the way whoever I stole that training dummy buff on the Defender's boat, sorry! Haha I didn't see the health, ran by with a swing and nabbed it. Pretty funny, but I felt really bad.

    u will find the server filled with helpful ppl and some j**ks as well but thats life, the gd thing is the gd people are more numerous in here.
    there are a number of people in here that helped me when i first started out by teaching me all they could ( a few names pop to my head but i rather not name them coz the forum terms dont permit it), but every herd has a black sheep so avoid any toon with Darth on its name and u should be fine ;p (ps darth is actually a cool dude i just like to mess with him)

    We have pink ponies, fresh green pastures, plenty of flowersniffers and drunkards that ruin everything like FTS here.

    As usual, stay away from harbor/marketplace advices, find a nice guild with people you like to run and you'll be fine.

    PUGs are pretty good here 'cept a few j**ks but you'll recognise those soon enough. Also not a strictly "your loot is your loot" server, lot of good helping people around.

    Hi welcome to orien.

    As people have stated don't worry at the moment about the LFM scene, there is currently an event called mabar running and lots of people are doing it, so the LFM's are thin on the ground.

    Don't be afraid to let people know you are new(ish). the vast majority of orionites are more than happy to help, if you are pugging with them, they will probably give you stuff from chests to help you out.

    Been on orion since i started, yes there are a few idiots on the server, but the majority are really great.

    True story, first ToD I ever ran, on Orien of course... I was the proud owner of almost every belt and necklace in the chest

    I'm like trying to give them away in Party chat, I'm like OMG I cant believe I've pulled this many named loot items

    then someone was like "I think we all put them in your name because you were new"

    In other words you are on a good server
