Not sure these even exist... silver/ adamantine Quarterstaff?

So, I rolled up a thief acrobat, because I am short sighted and because I already have an assassin, and I likey it. I need an adamantine quarterstaff and a silver one. I think if I got the staff of Nat gann that would satisfy the silver need, but I want a silver holy of evil outsider blah blah blah... been looking at AH for a while and have yet to see a QS, meaning they A) do not exist, or B) someone has them all and is keeping them in an effort to deprive me of awesomeness. Unacceptable! If someone has one or knows where to get one I can then decon and craft, I am all ears. And belly fat. And Cheeto dust. In Mayonnaise. Mmmm...

I just realized I can't even ask for an item in marketplace without writing a long winded paragraph.

I had one from doing the Depths quest it was a adamantine quarterstaff of (something useless) so they do drop.

You can get them in the DDO Store too.

Search for "Blessed Silver" or "Blessed Cold Iron."

I don't recall ever seeing a random quarterstaff having any metal type, though they do drop with the metalline prefix. They can be random loot or crafted as metalline/righteous or metalline/pure good.

You can get silver quarterstaves from threnal end reward list, it wont say silver in the name, but it will have the property.

Addy, iirc, you can get from deleras end reward list.

Yes, chain rewards are the place to look for them. Any chain which can drop a named staff will drop a random gen staff if you don't get the named. Then it's a 50/50 caster or melee stick. If you get a melee stick, it'll have a metal type.

I'm not sure if certain chains provide certain metals, as I've only started looking for them for a couple months.

You can get a variety of metal based quarterstaves as end rewards from the Deleras Chain. They are craftable but are bta. I've seen adamantine, silver, cold iron, and byeshk drop from there. Very nice if you don't mind farming or crafting.
You can also craft a silver or metalline greensteel qstaff.

Definitely got for the chain rewards ones instead of the store ones, because the chain ones are BTA, and stay BTA when you craft on them. The store ones are BTC.

They can drop anywhere, however BTA metallic staves drop at the end of Delera's. I've got flametouched, adamantine, byshek, etc.

The DDO store also sells (craftable) "blessed silver" and "blessed cold iron". Those each pass a metal AND good ... so you can run with an Axiomatic (blessed cold iron) of Greater Chaotic Outsider Bane. You can smack Lailat and all those uppity eladrin in Running with the Devils with the same stick! Bonus!

What everyone else before me said. Note that sometimes the staves are bugged so that the metals don't actually show up in the name - you have to mouse over the staff to see them. Just mentioning it so you don't miss one by accident if you take the chain farming route.

Absolutely - in fact I'd say this happens at least 50% of the time. If you see a BTA stave in the end reward, check it out (much like you used to have to do with handwraps).

I've got one blank I keep seeing on a mule and wondering why the hell I kept it ... then noticing it's a metallic and remembering why.

I have a BTA silver quarterstaff from Delera's chain reward tucked away. Chain rewards are definitely useful places to search.

Forgot to mention, that it's rumoured that the CO6 chain (the second one) is more likely to dropped the metal quarterstaffs. I don't know how true it is, but it's what I've heard.

I would also suggest turning OFF the "Quest End Rewards Based On Class" option,, for some reason it seams to drop more "metal type" staffs if you do. I got both, cold iron and silver quarterstaffs from Delera's end rewards. If they weren't BTA I'd sell them. LOL

As others have said, the end chain BTA are nice, however. the store BTC blessed silver weapons already bypasses good/silver, so no need for a 'holy/pure good' shard, so you can use the extra spot to put another shard.

In a pinch if you need adamntine you can pick up a witching hour from shadow crypt or from the auction house for peanuts.
Not craftable and it is a caster stick but it is an addy stick for passing DR.

@ Violith One thing that really sucks for BTC stuff from the DDO sore is you are stuck using it just for that character,, no way to pop it in the bank for another toon to use. And then oh,, i need ANOTHER silver weapon for another toon and there I am giving turbine more of my hard earned money for another weapon that if I would have taken a little time could have been shared by all of them across the server when they needed it. Plus, I really don't like just buying things from the DDO store,, unless it's purely cosmetic. It almost seems like a cheat or cop out to me. ie, oh, can't find what you want, just go buy it from turbine instead of actually have to do a little work for it. But hey,, that's me, everybody is entitled to their own way of playing

@kinggartk I'm sure you're prolly right on that point,, but sometimes it's nice to bump info for players new to the game.
