Gear fix for level 22 healbot?

I have a level 22 cleric on her first life. Playing her as a healbot for now so I can learn the ins and outs of being a healer. Next life she'll either be a clonk (preferred) or maybe I'll work on understanding DCs and spell pen and be a caster cleric.

What I'm actually wearing:
Trinket: Holy Symbol of Llolth (Too much to list)
Head: Teraza's Perfect Sight (+6 Wisdom, True Seeing)
Cloak: Epic Cloak of Night lvl 20 (invis guard, ghostly, deathblock, dr5/good)
Gloves: Maenya's Iron Fists (+6 Strength, +13 intimidate)
Bracers: Nightforge Armbands (Heroism 3x/rest, +20 hp)
Boots: Cannith crafted Boots of +20% Striding
Neck: Nyoko's Necklace (+6 Constitution, Invisibility 3x/rest)
Ring 1: Amara's Band (Wisdom +6, +1 Exceptional Charisma, exceptional potential)
Ring 2: Katra's Wit (+5 Charisma, +10 diplomacy)
Belt: Amara's Belt (Wizardry 6 + ardor clickie)
Goggles: Cannith crafted Blindness Ward Goggles w/large Guild slot
Armor: White Dragonscale Heavy Armor (Heavy Fortification, Protection +5, Shield +4, Superior Cold Resistance)
Weapon: + 3 Holy Burst Silver Longsword of Pure Good
Shield: Cannith Crafted Heavy Shield of Life Shield

Since I have the set bonus from Amara, I don't want to be swapping in another belt. I really would like to upgrade her Amara ring, but I'm not sure about the grind to do both that AND get her a greensteel item. But even when I do get enough mats to upgrade the ring, I'm not sure what to put in there. Do I put in shocking (or holy) burst now in anticipation of incipient clonk-ness? Or is there something I could put in that would be a strong fit for "any" sort of cleric (and put a burst on a Nyoko ring if/when I get it)?

I have been trying to farm a pair of the Gauntlets of Eternity from the Reaver's Fate raid but I haven't been lucky. My main is a paladin, and I'm not really sure what gloves/bracers are useful for healing types other than that.

I should be able to upgrade/change the goggles and shield to be more effective, immediately (the goggles could have something in addition to blindness ward added to them, and the shield could be enchanted with something in addition to Life Shield). I have a crafting alt in the low 80's in all 3 schools. The sword is pretty useful, since I'm still questing fairly often to build up gear and favor. Suggestions on a caster stick that would supplement the Holy Symbol's awesomeness might help.

I expect to be farming the cleric set from Eveningstar, but I don't have many commendations. Planning ahead on that, I do have a banked Terrorweb Chitin Breastplate (Strength +8). I saved it for future trading. With the cleric set I'll be short constitution (have to lose my necklace). I can probably get it somewhere else temporarily (PDK helm for example). But, I could also potentially trade for a +8 Constitution breastplate and put it in the set when I have the favor. Then, regardless of whether I'm playing a clonk or a caster-cleric in the future, I have constitution covered (Sun Soul makes it part of their set). I'm not sure if that, or an insightful stat is better.

So much to work out, any suggestions would be appreciated.

How about slotting +20% heal amp on the ring? That works for pretty much ANY build.
Your could also swap out your shield for http://ddowiki.com/page/Wall_of_Wood_%28Level_23%29 for the 30% Hamp and get 10% on a pair of lootgen lesser convalecent bracers.

Okay admitedly I'm a sucker for healing amp on any divine build, with the above setup on a human cleric you'd get 223% extra health from your aura, 245.4% with ship buffs making the aura tick for some crazy amount, loosing up on the amount of active selfhealing needed.

As for the helm/neck thing I'd say: yes, get the PDK helm and the cleric necklace. It doesn't take that long to get the commendations. Try telling the group that you need these two commendations and would like to swap for all others before you start the quest, people might be willing to trade, others might have everything they need.
Don't toss out Nyoko's though. A high level invis clicky is always nice to have.

Thanks for suggesting the triple air sp item. When looking it up it seems to be quite a bit cheaper to make than concordant opposition. But shouldn't it go on the neck so I can swap it with Nyko's (for now), and then the torc when I get that? You had recommended goggles.

Healing amp it is for the ring.

Mabar has really thrown off my levelling and gearing. I don't begrudge anyone still wanting to do it but I had my gear ready after 2 days and had real trouble finding quests (and thus sources of commendations). Maybe I'll throw up a LFM to farm the heck out of Unquiet Graves.

I can't believe I dropped all my devotion gear. For some reason I thought the holy symbol had it. I'll have to pull my staff of fleshshaping out of storage until I can farm better. Thanks to both of you for catching that.

Not really, I don't think either set is worth going for. It just happens that PDK gear is decent and cheap... bang for your buck kind of thing. Neither are something you should be aiming for on a final gear setup.

Being a healbot to get a feel for things isn't too bad of an idea. With that in mind, here are some realistic goals you should be looking at as far as gear is concerned.


Trinket:
Head: Purple Dragon Helm (+7 con, +2 insightful str)
Cloak: Epic Cloak of Night lvl 24
Gloves: Purple Dragon Gauntlets (+7 str, +2 insightful con, 30% heal amp)
Bracers: Bracers of the sun soul (+7 wis, +4 saves)
Boots:
Neck: Torc
Ring 1:
Ring 2:
Belt:
Goggles: Triple Air SP goggles
Armor: Purple Dragon Armor (Full Plate: +6, Heavy Fortification, Superior False Life, DR 5/-)
Weapon: 120 devotion/120 force swap

After you grind out a torc and 20 shroud completions for a stone of cleansing, start planning how you want to lay out your gear and greensteel slots for a more permanent gear setup. Go ahead and put 20% amp on it. Amara's set isn't something you want to wear on a clonkfor general use, it's frankly a healbot set.

Don't bother, it's outdated loot. Grab the Signet of the Shining Sun from eveningstar trade ins, or use your weapon slot for devotion/healing lore.

I would strongly advice against using GS on the neck slot. Goggles as Atomicmew said is a pretty good spot for GS on a cleric. While tripple air is pretty cheap to make, it still takes quite a while to make if you're starting from scratch.

I'd like to ask why you're saying greensteel on the neck is bad?

This is the argument behind putting it on the neck that I've read:

You don't want anything on your neck that will compete with a Torc. If you put a sp greensteel on your neck, when you've used up the sp in it, you can swap over to the Torc (which is when you'd be most likely to have room in your blue bar to refresh sp). If you don't have a Torc you can either leave the greensteel there all the time, or swap with another necklace that you want to wear most of the time.

Yes it'll work. Lots of casters have greensteel SP as a swap only. But lots of tier 3 double shard bonuses are worth having on their own. Min II, conc-op, radiance II are all quite good.

For one of the rings I suggest the cleric ring in evening star. It gives superior healing lore which leaves your weapon open to a devotion 120 + spell pen or school mastery loot gen. Your shield could be anything but I feel the thumatagory stages to be best there.
There is not much in gloves for a healer so putting pdk gloves there works.

This is a lot like my gear loadout for my capped cleric... I have the lvl 22 Wall of Wood, which is an awesome healer shield (not having to unequip your Devotion item to use scrolls is priceless. I don't have a level 24 cloak of night, so am currently using a lootgen Dex +7/Resistance +7 item, GS Conc Opp bracers, Magewright's goggles for more spell pen... belt slot will be a GS hit point item once I get around to making it.

What ED are you using? both Exalted Angel and Unyielding Sentinel can be fun, but they have very different playstyles

Capped out Exalted Angel and currently leveling Unyielding Sentinel. Finally capping at 25 should help make that a little easier now without repeat XP penalties.

I'd say my ideal endgame armor is probably Cormyr Green Dragonplate, but as I've pulled 1 dragon scale ever since xpac, good luck with that one.

I do have enough blue scales for robes, but since I don't do much casting I haven't bothered to make the robes. And I think the blue is kind of out of favor these days (with the new green and red scales).
