Chats not working on thelanis? or global?

When i log a toon:

(Error): You failed to join the chat room.
/1 hey hey
(Standard): Room # 1 is not valid
/leavechannel xxxxxx
(Standard): You are not in room 'xxxxxx'
/joinchannel xxxxxx password
(Standard): You are already in room 'xxxxxx'

xxxxxx = its the same channel

It seems im already in the channel but i cannot leave the channel or talk.

Guild chat allow me to write but no ones reads me, same in party chat.

You aren't alone. I'm on Thelanis and messed up like that also.

No chats work. general, advice, user, guild. none of them.
voice chat does not work either.

It would appear per Win7 Resource monitor, that the game is not connected to the GameSpy servers either. All of my connections are heading to the east coast/Turbine. I've got nothing going west coast where GameSpy would be at.

Incidently, it also makes your friend's list not work because it can't connect to the servers to see who is "on".

/tell does seem to work however.

Also having problems.

General, Advice, Trade, Party, Guild, Userchats, and Voicechat aren't working for me at all. Oddly enough, the /tell system is still working, and its the only way I can communicate with other players. One of my guildies is having the same problem. And while we're registering complaints, my squelch/ignore & friends list got wiped clean too.

I submitted a ticket in-game, got redirected to DDO's Tech Support, submitted a ticket there too. Now I'm just waiting for a response.

can type in guild but noone sees it all other channels say invalid

Ok... not all my toons have the same problem, only some of them. But some guildies are checking all his toons and all of them have this problem.

Same problem, bug repot is made. Guildees also have submitted a bug report. Not going to raise a fuss about turbine this or that. Stuff happens. Though if it last a couple days it will be a big problem. Playing with guildees is not a big deal since we have ventrillo, though, pugging is going to be exceptionally difficult.
