Guild renown decay changes need fixed ASAP

I logged into game this morning ahead of the hot-fix and Mabar push.
And made a note of our renown 11,699,804 at 9am est.
Just now I log on and see 11,609,808
* had a typo, fixed
Lvl 61 Guild.

So you're trying to tell me that 5 people need to make up 90K renown per day?!!!

Turbine this is totally unacceptable. And if you consider this a fix for the better on the renown system, then expect a dramatic decrease in people playing this game.

and at 3:45 PM you had 1,906,808

I think I'm missing something as it looks like you gained 100K+ not lost 90K. That is unless the 9 is suppose to be a 6. Or did I just roll a 1?

Its a bug that happens when the world restarts, aparently. You get double renown decay.

These changes are anticipated to remain in-game through at least Update 16. We are continuing to look into a bug which may be causing additional decay issues, and will have more information about that when we can. Thank you!

Even at 45K, the decay looks wrong. If the number of members is fixed at 20 as originally described it should be just under 10K per day, not 45K.

I know. When I read it, it said 90k in decay. Like TPICKRELL said though, thats still really high even with the "double decay" caused by the worlds restarting. does it only decay like that when the world gets restarted for maint/hotfixes or do you see that daily?

We have NEVER had this happen to us.
