Sell me your motes!

Ok, so I'm going to want 3 of the level 24 mabar items, so that's something along the lines of 21,000 motes. I can't fathom spending that much time on such a boring and mundane task. If you're low on plat and want to farm motes, i'm happy to fill your pockets. Please let me know what you guys think is a good price in plat per mote. Even if you've got too much of your own farming to do to sell me any motes, i would appreciate your opinion on price. That will at least give me a good place to start, and then i'll adjust my in-game offers as competition dictates.

That said I seem to recall motes going for about 30-40pp per mote last year.

So for a ML24 item from scratch you need 7,000 motes at roughly 280,000 plat then. Pluss the special stuff (scales/dust etc).

Has mabar started? According to the Devs mabar thread, it looks like it's not on but I could be wrong. Away from the game for a week and a half and I really really hate missing on mabar since I need some wraps on diff. toons.

Thanks for the input guys. No, mabar has not started but from the looks of things it may be on at 4pm today... pending all goes well. I really hated mabar last year, but i made the 2 items i wanted on another toon by farming it. I'm dreading it this year again, but the items are too good to pass up. 280,000 plat per item is soooo worth it to me... in fact, i would pay quite a lot more than that not to have to spend the next few days in the graveyard. I'll still need to do the summoning chamber 30 times though... ugggh.

According to my "shopping list" its 7000 motes + 4 scales + 2 dust + 1 fang for a full ML24 upgraded item.

And if you are not interested in farming the dragon or anything else its a grand total of 50500 motes if you choose to buy the scales/dust/fang for motes instead.
