    Default Remember my settings please.

Ok, so every time i log in i have to go through a little routine to get everything set to how i like it. I don't understand why these settings are not remembered by the client, now 6+ years in the works.

    Social panel:
    1) LFM checkbox settings ("Show groups I am not eligible for", etc).
    2) LFM Order preference (I always want my LFM order to be by level, descending from highest to lowest)
    3) Guild order preference (I always want the online members at the top)
    4) Friends checkbox settings (I always want to hide offline friends)

    Window locations:
    1) Quest entry window location. My first quest entry window is always hidden behind my chatbox and off-center. Please remember where i put it last time and keep it there until it is moved again.

    2) Crafting window locations. The success/fail messages always get in the way of the default crafting window location. Also, i like it a little to the left of the default location so that my inventory window can fit comfortably next to it. Please remember where i put it last time and keep it there until it is moved again.

While these things are a million miles from game breaking, i do find it really annoying to have to re-do all these settings each and every time i log in or change characters. Please remember my settings between log-ins.

    Thanks,
    -Scott

I wonder if the position of these windows can be saved using the /ui layout save <filename> command, while the windows you speak of are open?

Well, it might not work at all with those types of windows, so don't thank me yet. As far as I know, it's just for your UI windows (hotbars, map icon, chat windows, etc), but who knows?

/signed for having the social panel remember the checkboxes.
(and it already remembers the anonymous checkbox)
