I hate respeccing enhancements before specific quests, if I hang up Celestias they will be put away for good (or more literally until I ETR and then get them back). When I said in my post I reset them often, I meant once or twice a level. I really wish the devs would fix Celestia, but they've already said they can't be bothered .

Which effects would I put on the picks?

Gotcha. Well, you could leave yourself specced w/out KotC capstone, but that's a DPS loss when using your TF weapons. TBH, I don't remember how much endgame content req's DR-breaking these days.

Good question. Seems like everyone uses Mortal Fear for trash beaters and Crippling Flames for boss beaters. Dragon's Edge is important b/c 35% Armor-Piercing is the highest available in DDO at the moment. 1st Degree Burns is pretty common for fire dmg + Vulnerability; although I've seen some people use Touch of Flames instead on their trash beaters, arguing that mobs die too quickly for Vulnerability to matter & extra fire dmg is better. And Dragonic Reinvigoration is nice b/c it can regen your action boosts, Smites, and TUs when it procs.

However, rather than farming four weapons, I wonder what people think of only farming three:

    • Main hand (trash): Touch of Flames / Paralyzing Fear / Mortal Fear (Dragon's Edge would be more crit dmg, but I like the idea of paralyzing trash, esp. on a build w/some sneak atks)
    • Main hand (boss): 1st Degree Burns / Dragon's Edge / Crippling Flames (the 35% Armor-Piercing is redundant, but I can't think of anything more exciting / useful for T2 on a boss beater)
    • Offhand: 1st Degree Burns / Dragon's Edge / Draconic Reinvigoration

For the boss beater, I'm also wondering if a rapier is better than a hvy pick so the crit effects proc more often: 11-20/x3 vs 15-20/x5. Decisions, decisions...

It would need something that works off the sneak damage. So yes, blinding or paralyzing. Is paralyzing the better choice these days? I don't melee in epics with TF weapons. I use TF casting sticks, or my acrobat uses Sireth.

My choking point is not phlogs but comms. So it would be possible to keep the Celestias for (for now) and just make one set that complements Celestia. Then, as I get more comms, I could make a second set (or add a third) later.

Edit: Speaking of rapiers, she has dual Balizardes in the bank (I think)...I know she has at least one. Just in case a Balizarde changes things.
