Default Caster stick (Healing) for Epic Cleric?

I'm still using the staff of fleshshaping. It's pretty nice but I suspect that I "ought" to be using better than +72 devotion now that I've hit epic levels.

Any suggestions on something named to farm (or do I just buy something in the AH) would be appreciated...

Buy a high devotion item from the AH. You can find devotion 120 items if you look often enough

    Lightbulb Healing gear suggestions

Look on the AH for a decent Thaumaturgy quarterstaff with some combination of Devotion, Combustion, Fire Lore, Kinetic Lore, Radiant Lore, or Evocation Mastery (depending on which offensive spells you like).

Then I'd suggest the Shining Sun set. Easy to get and great items.

This was also a godsend to my FvS. Definitely my new favorite item.

Alternatively, you can also do a scepter/club or sword/shield combo instead of a quarterstaff to possibly get more benefits.

    Just my 2cp.

Wall of Wood is decent and has some perks: http://ddowiki.com/page/Overgrowth

If you want to get devotion off a hand slot there are a few choices:
Epic Mask of Comedy (not too bad to grind)
Epic Shining Crest of St Markus (pretty rare)
    Epic Chainmail Coif (stupid rare)

Probably other things you could also go after but these are
the best I can think of without going into librarian mode.

If you do melee and/or offensive casting, you will probably find swapping sticks slow, unwieldy and unreliable. One solution is to look for a non-weapon source for devotion, as suggested. The wiki has a list.

    Would definitely second this advice!

Slot devotion elsewhere and keep the hands free for other things! If you can get the Holy symbol of Lolth, then you've slotted almost all you need for casting and can go for spell pen and lore items in the hands.

My fvs doesnt have devotion slotted at all in his main setup (radiance of evo mastery+impulse of necro mastery). He has 50 or so potency on his blue scale, and healing spell power from enhancements/destinies as well as 30+20+20 healing amp, and that has to be enough for ordinary quests. In raids he can switch to an 1h healing stick + 100 heal scrolls if needed.

I would love to be able to do something like this, but I'm on my first life and leveling my first destiny and I'm playing a nearly pure healbot to learn the skills. I used to throw blade barriers but my low DCs finally caught up with me. I do occasionally swing a longsword at things.

Since I'm a healer with the low sp pool of a cleric, devotion really helps boost my cures.

When rummaging through my mule toons, I did find a Holy Symbol of Llolth. Packrat skills for the win, again . My paladin main has accidentally farmed all sorts of useful items for my cleric.

    Thanks for all the answers.

Ideal choices on my caster-priest Palinurus seem to be a Holy Symbol of Lolth (trinket slot) and a Wall of Wood (shield).

This gives a cleric 102 spell power in all the major types necessary (Positive, Negative, Light, and Force), and leaves the weapon hand free for a beater or scroll healing.

Good luck farming 'em though. At least they're bind on equip, so if you're filthy rich maybe you can get lucky in AH
