    Default Ninjarogue Dethfist

    OK, bored, thought about the synergy between monks and rogues and came up with what appears to be a fun and usable build. Here it is.

    DPS Monk attack speed, [2W]1d6 fists damage, 8d6+12 sneak attack damage, Touch of death, stunning fist, bypass 35% enemy fort, 3% double strike, Rogue haste boost IV, ki strikes, TOD rings

    DEFENSE Good base dodge (16%?), improved uncanny dodge, shadow fade, improved evasion, good AC potential, good saves, immune to sleep and natural diseases

    UTILITY Traps, UMD, Cleric Dillitante (raise dead, heal scrolls, wands...), fast movement x3

    Obviously GMOF and a few twists go a long way to making this a more powerful build. Good gear would be essential as well. Let me know whatcha think.

    Not bad, dps is a bit low but I may think about this if i do a rogue life.

    Glad you are considering the build but I would have to differ with you about the dps. It is certainly not a max dps build but with all the stuff listed under dps it would provide above average melee dps imo. Can you please explain why you believe the dps would be low?

    I think I prefer monk 12 / rog 8: almost the same sneak atk (+2d6 from NS II vs +2d6+3 from extra rog lvls) and you keep Imp Uncanny Dodge; but gain lvl 3 stances & access to the monk-specific epic feats (Imp Martial Arts & Vorpal Strikes). I also think adding Power Atk + Imp Sunder would be more useful than Mobility + Spring Atk (esp. since you can get Mobility on gear these days).

    too much monk lvls for my taste. one is enough.
    Jesus saves. Everyone else rounds to nearest 5%.

    Considering UMD as a class skill, I don't think that Cleric Dilly is actually needed at cap. The synergies of stunners, SA damage and unarmed attack speed is great. See also http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=348658.

    I'm not sure if that huge amount of +dodge% feats is actually needed to get to 25%. You can have up to 10% from gear, and passive bonuses (eg. Uncanny, Water Stance) and epic destinies offer a lot, too.

    Very good suggetion. Also get immunity to natural poison, 1 step fist damage, 1 more fast movement, and last but certainly not least, abundant step. I will certainly consider all this and look at either altering the build or making another one. Thanks again.

    I had already considered that cleric dilly could be swapped out when UMD is high enough. I wouldn't fight in water stance but your point is well taken, other feats could be taken in place of those. Thanks for your reply.
