Newbie Couple looking for a Guild

We are a couple just learning the DDO game: Argonnessen World...

After study and practice, I think we would be ready to join a quest by this weekend. However, we don't want anyone to get aggravated with us due to our inexperience.

We have Rogue, Ranger, & Favoured Soul Characters available.

We perfer weekend gaming guilds.

What time zone are you in? What level characters do you have? I have a small guild of people mostly in the east coast time zone. Things have been a little quite lately, but me and a friend of mine play together almost every night.

We are east coast... he is not as into it as me... I try to play each night...

I am a level 2 Ranger and a level 2 Favoured Soul.

He is a Rogue.

We are trying to get through Korthos right now... but should be ready to start this weekend.

I am trying to figure out spells... not understanding the roll of the candle... and reading alot...

I feel more comfortable with my Ranger but have been playing both...

Right now my lowest is level 6, but I could run one of my kids characters until you caught up to that. Do you know how to search for people in the Social panel? You can sort by guild (Steel City Knights) and find me on with Khristan or Khorah, the two TR's I'm currently working on. Or tell me your character's names and I'll find you. I'm usually not on until 8 or 9 though during the week.

If you want to start a party with just the two of you, all you need to do is invite him. There are a few ways to do this. Probably the easiest is to click on his character to put him in your orb. Once he is in your orb, click on the little gears to pull up a menu and select "invite". This will send a message to him that he can accept or deny. Once he accepts, you are now in a party and can hear each other through voice chat. A party can contain up to 6 people and as few as 2. Work on that over the weekend. It'll be much easier for me to explain things to you over voice chat.

Are you familiar with the chat windows? If I send you a message in the game, do you know how to respond to it?

I am 2nd in command of the guild We Do Not Run Thru Dungeons. It is a level 54 guild and very close to level 55 when we get our new airship. My main toon's name is Chaimberland, he is a True Reincarnated level 19 Paladin. Altogether I have 14 toons ranging from level 3 to 21. Most people in the guild are like me in that they have several toons that they run with spanning most level ranges. That gives us the ability to form a party at almost any level range.

A little history on our guild. It started a little over 3 years ago. Right now we have around 75 active players, about 15-25 that play pretty regularly so it isn't hard to get help running quests. We have players from eastern, central, mountain and pacific time zones. We are a non zergging guild. We see ourselves as a training guild. We have no problem taking in people and teaching them the ropes. We pride ourselves in taking our time exploring dungeons, breaking all breakables, doing all optionals and maximizing our xp. We NEVER leave anybody behind. Our guild leaders do an excellent job of explaining quests and answering questions. We help our members with their builds or any needs that they may have. The age of our members ranges from mid twenties to late sixties. Most of us have a pencil and paper playing back ground but not all of us. All our members are usually very friendly and always willing to help others out. We also have several couples in the guild including our guild leader and his wife. Most of us have children and understand when somebody needs to take a break to go change a diaper or help their children with school work.

They pretty much explain what we are all about. If you like what you see there then please try to contact us. What we like to do with potential new members is run a couple quests with them to determine if they would be a right fit for the guild and also for the potential new members to have a chance to see if we would be a right fit for them. It seems like a lot of work but it really isn't. Our members are all pretty easy going and just like to have a good time. If you have any questions and/or would like to run with some of us to check us out then please get a hold of me through either our website or in game via mail or by sending me a tell. We are recruiting roleplayers. WE WILL NOT TOLERATE BERSERKERS or "ZERGS!" We are a medieval/military/Templar based roleplaying guild that has melded my ADnD 2nd addition "tabletop" campaign of over 20 years w/DDO's campaign.
I am a DM from ADnD 2nd addition and have been for over 20 years. Our guild is level 31 and has an airship w/all amenities, we are active, however we are recruiting more and more to increase the amount of active members so that at any time (24/7) anyone from our guild should be able to log on and find enough guild members to quest with (so as not to have to find strangers for that.)
