    Default Horc caster advice

I want to play a half-orc caster. (36 pts build)

    Arcane options?
orc PM, but I already have too much (4) wiz past life
orc sorc, but I'm not satified by my current UMD healing humlan sorc, so an horc will just be worst

    Druid ?
A nice idea, but if I always run in animal form, I prefer being human (can see the character anyway)
Is it possible (interesting) to run a druid not in its animal (or elemental) form

    Divines ?
Probably but I'm not a specialist of divines (I have a weak lvl20 FvS human created at lvl7, then used stone of experience)

I was thinking about cleric with barbarian splash (for speed)... max wis, rest in con and str
or FvS with 2-3 lvl monk splash... but still caster oriented (not an hidden melee). I have no idea how to plan stats...

I have 3 wiz past lives, + 1 sorc, +3 book on each stat, con opp googles, and almost nothing else.

I would be interested if someone can point me a build FvS or cleric with monk splash that could be adapted on H orc without loosing too much.

    Thanks in advance

PS: I'm playing solo 95% of the time

I had a HORC cleric with Divine Might and 2 levels of Barb that was very fun to play. Awesome at soloing too. Max out STR, and WIS with the rest into CON/CHA(DP requirement only). 2HF with full plate. At low levels you can Rage and DPS almost as good as a pure barb. At higher levels you can DP and BB while DPS'ing. All while self healing.

This is my build. It is STR based though. It is the reason to take a Horc. If you don't take advantage of the STR enhancments or Power Attack 1-3 enhancements I can't think of a reason to take Horc over Human. I can't think of a reason to go Pure Cleric Horc. The STR enhancements beg for a splash. You can melee with even a Wiz lvl as explained below, and it buffs your Blade Barrier. There is nothing against upping wisdom and still taking those Horc enhancements for melee, but you are better off with Human for extra feat and more wisdom from human adaptability if you go Caster Cleric and stay pure cleric.

As long as you take CLR17/### you are still a raid healer. How you melee or cast the 75% of the time you don't need to heal is really up to you. The party is just glad you showed up to heal.

Thinking Legendary Dreadnaught eventually. So how should I progress through the Destinys? What do you recommend. I think I have to do Unyielding Sentinel then Grand Master of the Flowers to get to Legendary Dreadnought. What minimum Epic Destiny enhancements did you take to get there?

    This is my build.

    Thank you for advices

I do not want to sacrify too much casting ability, so maxing STR instead of WIS seems wrong with my playstyle.

A barb/cleric sounds good, even if I don't know why it should be better than barb/FvS...

Playing a druid is also a nice option for versatility, and using spells I've never tried before... but even in the proposed build (that sacrifies too much casting for melee for me), it seems to run most of the time in fire ele shape.

Anyway it's good to see the options while I continue my run to cap then epic fragment farming

The cleric capstone is a lot weaker than the FvS one, clerics get their spells one level sooner than FvS, and RS aura provides a HoT which ticks away while you're swinging that big ol' axe around.

If you want to avoid shapeshifting for whatever reason, I guess you could play a Season's Herald druid who focuses on electrical spells (thus neither elemental form helps). TBH tho I haven't seen a build like that which doesn't just feel like a gimped Air Savant. Even as a SH druid, avoiding the elemental forms entirely means giving up their caster bonuses and special atks for no readily apparent gain.
