Lord of Blades and Celestia

A guildy was reporting that Celestia was not getting around the Lord of Blades DR even with an arti adamantine buff. I think the reason is because base damage from Celestia is light damage and the Lord of Blades has light resistance. Can someone confirm whether this is true or whether it is a bug? I don't know the answer - I am just trying to understand it.

Yes it does light damage, not physical damage, and the lord of blades is one of the few monsters with light resistance.
