Could be a teachable moment if they had a set or two of true-seeing goggles that drop on quest-exit laying around. It does seem early enough in the level range to count as still picking up game-play tricks.

This is actually a pretty good idea.
True Seeing is one ability that doesn't drop randomly - More items with it on would be a good thing - Voice/Mantle would need another boost though.
However I still get annoyed when after completing say Legend of Two Toed Tobias in 3 Barrel Cove I get Underwater Action item pop up in the end reward list - I needed it in the quest I just did thank you very much!
STK - Ring of Feathers - Seriously? Even if it dropped every single time - I've just had to take ridiculous amounts of falling dmg to get the d@rn thing - Put it in Sacred Helm perhaps {Oh and give that Helm a proper boost pls - I'm thinking Charisma +2, Intimidate +5 rather than the frankly ludicrously bad Intim +3 it currently has.}.
BTW I personally have feather falling and underwater action items rdy when I go to do these quests - Newbies however....
People run Tangleroot to get the Visor of the Flesh Render Guards {Not a guaranteed drop by any means} - You don't need Deathward at all in this chain!
This ^ is more what I'd like to see however - Items that will come in handy later on dropping from end rewards of earlier chains.
However I'd suggest some moving around of current items.
STK - Ring of Feathers to Sacred Helm
Tangleroot - Visor to Necro 1 - Bloody Crypt End Reward {Let's face it the end rewards in necro are universally awful AND Necro II virtually requires Deathward.}.
Xorian Cypher - Planar Gird - Move it to the end reward list please. Guaranteed drop on 3rd run.
I'm sure there are plenty of others around that could do with being moved to different quests/chains.
Does the Nightblade actually ever drop in Tempest Spine or is it a myth?
