Best path for me

Hi I'm somewhat new to the game and very new to the forum..I just bought a few ad packs through the DDO Store. I love the game but I was wondering if I am on the right path. I chose Elementalist because I wanted to deal alot of damage with my elemental spells...but I am not used to it yet. I was wondering if anyone had any advice about which path is best to take? I like blasting foes with spells but I don't want to be stuck when a mob comes and all I can do is hit one of them at a time. And also I was wondering if I will ever get a heal spell...I'm level 5 right now.

If you want elemental damage spells, sorcerer is usually a much better choice

Wizards don't really get healing, but if you become a necromancer, you can be undead and heal yourself that way
You can also heal with potions, or put points in use magic device and heal yourself with wands.
In addition, if you are not grouping with other players, don't be afraid to use a hireling.

Good choice buying adventure packs, that is by far the best use of turbine points
