Druid/Monk is typically called a Drunk (DRUid moNK). If you do a search you'll turn up several threads on this build.

There are lots of options for how to build them, so you'll need to be a bit more specific. Just a few examples of melee Drunks:

    • druid 18 / monk 2 - TWF w/handwraps, Stunning Fist, WIS-based, focused elemental forms, can go NW or SH
    • druid 13 / monk 6 - similar to above, but get Ninja I (Shadow Fade, +1D6 SA, Wind II stance) instead of lvl 8 & 9 spells
    • druid 9 / monk 9 / ftr 2 - Winter Wolf melee build, Imp Evasion, ToD, Natural Fighting x3, Stunning Fist
    • monk 12 / druid 7 - melee build designed to exploit Reaving Roar or Fatal Harrier

Yes, if you have handwraps equipped. Stunning Fist + Takedown = good times!

Has anyone built the 9/9/2 version and has it up and running at lvl 20+ ? I ask because I was planning on doing a TR into that and found an online character builder and it wouldn't allow me to take the natural fighting feat on any other levels except my 9th level of druid.
When I built the toon and had 9 levels of druid and then was taking my other levels of fighter and monk, the natural fighing feat didn't come up on the feats list to allow me to even see it.
I can see that as being just a fault of the character building program but wanted to hear some feedback from anyone that has a 9 / 9 / 2 up and running and know that you can take natural fighting 2 more times when you get your other class levels and already have 9 levels of druid opening up that feat to you.

    I don't see a reason why 11 druid/9 monk wouldn't work.

    - Access to lvl 6 spells
    - ToD
    - Ninja Spy I
    - Reaving Roar/Fatal Harrier or Spring Resurgence

Of course the trick is in knowing just how to bend the halfling...otherwise they never come back.

I'm sure it works, but I think feats is the main reason people suggest 9/9/2. Natural Fighting eats up three of them. You get two epic feats and 3 extra from 6+ monk levels, which means a total of 12. You want at least:

    Toughness
    Power Attack
    Cleave
    Great Cleave
    Dodge
    Improved Crit: Bludgeoning
    Natural Fighting
    Natural Fighting
    Natural Fighting
    Overwhelming Critical

That's 10. So on an 11 Druid/9 Monk you only get two more. I'd guess metas, probably Maximize and Quicken.

However, dumping 2 Druid levels for Fighter lets you pick two out of:
    Past Life: Monk
    Past Life: Paladin
    Stunning Fist
    Improved Sunder
    Precision

    and/or more metas.

Hi is there a link to a build like this? I too only have 32 point builds and have been looking for something like this. If you could PM me a link to a build or post it here that would be much appreciated!

edit: I have all races open as well if that helps!

This is still just theory-crafting on my part, but my concept was something like this:

WIS-based, TWF w/handwraps, Stunning Fist, focused on using fire elemental form + Body of the Sun et al, but able to switch to water for spells like Ice Storm & Creeping Cold. I went Nature's Warrior mostly for Reaving Roar, which is awesome; but Season's Herald may make more sense if I really wanted to focus on casting.
